You already know what it’s like to wake to the glory of this amazing mountain venue reminiscent of the Bavarian Alps. Now, we’re happy to let you know about a fresh new service offered by one of the most authentically European cafes, that will further enhance your unforgettable experience. Just imagine starting your day in the same luxurious way that Europeans have fine-tuned into a classic art... slowly relaxing with a hearty continental style breakfast, savored along with the very best Italian Lavazza kaffee, in the unbelievably gorgeous outdoor cafe venue of Haus Dog Kaffee and Tea located at the Gasthaus Wunderbar.

Or, if you are staying in one of the Gasthaus Wunderbar suites, you can have this amazing European style experience delivered and served to you in the privacy of your own beautiful suite, or on your own private balcony overlooking the river and the mountains!

This European style breakfast, highlighted with white linen, candles, and fresh flowers, is a breathtaking experience as you watch the sun wake the sleepy village, heralding the adventures of a new day as you watch it break over the surrounding mountains. Based upon the lighter Mediterranean breakfast tradition, the breakfast is an all-you-can-eat feast of fresh croissants, savory sweet cakes, crusty breads and rolls fresh-baked by the local German “Baeker Meister,” served along with organic honey, jams, jellies, and Irish butter. It includes European yogurt, a variety of fresh sliced international cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, and delicious organic granola.

And, of course, this feast is highlighted with amazing Italian Lavazza coffee, English teas from Harrison & Crosfield, or the Kaffee Haus’ signature hot chocolate, hot apple cider, or cold drinks.

After you’ve booked your stay with Destination Leavenworth, breakfast reservations can be made at a rate of $20 per person for breakfast at the outdoor cafe, or for $25 per person for room delivery, by calling Haus Dog Kaffee and Tea at 509-669-9466.

Room deliveries are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 24 hour reservations are required. Special occasion requests are available for a small surcharge. Only available from March 1 through October 31.

Brand New Lodge on the Wenatchee River!

Destination Leavenworth is proud to announce the opening of our newest vacation rental property, the beautiful and newly constructed White Water Lodge. Located just one mile from the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, White Water Lodge is enveloped in an amazing river setting, where rushing white water is visible even in the low water season, and wildlife, including eagles, make their frequent majestic appearance.

With four master suites, plus two additional bedrooms, the lodge is large enough to very comfortably accommodate your group, and features a cozy home theater with a 10 foot screen and seating for up to ten. Conveniently located right across the street from Snowgrass Lodge, these two properties combine to create the perfect venue for corporate retreats, meetings, or special events.

Just Opened! Gasthaus Wunderbar with nine suites in downtown Leavenworth!

Just in time for the beautiful winter season in the Bavarian village, Destination Leavenworth is thrilled to announce the opening of nine brand new vacation rental two-bedroom suites at Gasthaus Wunderbar, our newest concept in lodging experiences right in the heart of downtown!

Newly constructed just this past summer, the lovely condos that comprise Gasthaus Wunderbar are conveniently located right downtown, yet are enhanced by one of the most breathtaking river and mountain views in the foothills of the Cascades.

Each two-bedroom, two bathroom condo is fully furnished and beautifully designed with granite countertops, earthy tile, and quality appliances. Each has a cozy fireplace for your enjoyment, and a private balcony overlooking either Leavenworth’s very attractive Front Street, or a breathtaking view of the Cascade Mountains and the winding Wenatchee River.

And the best part of it all is not having to worry about downtown parking! Each condo has its own private, covered parking space. So park the car, and step out the front door into the festive Bavarian village. Welcome to our new website!

After months of planning, and working with some of the very best designers in the business, we’re excited to announce the successful launch of our new and revamped Destination Leavenworth website!

While our original site certainly served us well, the number and quality of our vacation properties has grown beyond our expectations. Consequently, we thought it was important to offer a new, easily navigable design that will bring to you quick access to the many features and services we’re very glad to be able to offer in our more than 40 great places to stay.

Our new expansion project is complete

While the rest of you were probably enjoying a relaxing spring of summer vacation planning, here at Destination Leavenworth we were deeply involved with drywall construction, painting, moving office furniture, and installing new commercial washers and dryers. And the result of all our hard work? We’ve expanded our office spaces, and also now have a very efficient, new state-of-the-art commercial laundry facility that we’re thrilled about!

In short, we’re working hard to keep up with our growth. Having acquired additional office space in the same building as the receptionist’s area you’ve been familiar with, the new facility now houses administration, book-keeping, and maintenance departments, as well as a large new central laundry and supplies facility. What this means for you is more efficiency, prompt attention to detail, and consistently clean, high quality fresh new linens in all of our rental properties.

At Destination Leavenworth, we’re growing and expanding... and we’re excited about it!
