Majestically overlooking the Wenatchee River in Peshastin, just 5 miles from Leavenworth, this stunning lodge features six beautiful master bedrooms, each with private bath.
Sitting majestically on the beautiful banks of the Wenatchee River in Peshastin (5 easy miles from downtown Leavenworth off Highway 2), Cottonwood Shores is sure to become one of your very favorite getaway spots! Formerly a very successful B&B, this beautiful, spacious lodge features six master bedrooms, each with a private bath. Easily accessible to the shops, restaurants and festivals of the Bavarian village, yet tucked away in a peaceful, highly restful setting, Cottonwood Shores has the best of everything. Comfortably accommodating up to 14, this stunning lodge is perfect for a family reunion, a getaway with a group of friends, or a corporate/leadership retreat.
With lovely full view windows along the prow of the main level, the absolutely gorgeous view follows a relaxing bend in the calmly flowing river. In the summer, river rafters drift lazily by, and from the huge deck you might spot kayaks in the water, as well as amazing wildlife including river otters, osprey and eagles.
The living room is beautifully appointed with leather, wood and natural themes, and features a river rock (propane)fireplace, as well as a unique wagon wheel light fixture that was once an original Roy Roger’s Restaurant highlight. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, perfect for meal preparation for your big group, with ample seating for dining, enhanced by the gorgeous river view.
On the main floor is the Master Suite-a unique two room suite with a King bed in the bedroom and a connected living room with a TV.
The upper floor features 2 suites– the Aspen, and the Alder each having a large private bathroom with walk-in showers and gorgeous vaulted beamed ceilings. The Alder room is equipped with a Queen sofa hide-a-bed.
On the lowest level, there are three more suites– the Cedar, the Pine, and the Cottonwood rooms, each with private bath. The Cottonwood is especially large, with a mini-kitchen bar, and sliding glass door for private entrance. The Cottonwood Suite also features a large in-room jacuzzi two-person spa. The lowest level also features a cozy and extremely comfortable family room with an electric ambiance fireplace and a small kitchenette for snacks and drinks, as well as TV. The Alder, Pine and Cottonwood bedroom suites have private televisions as well.
A private hot tub (professionally maintained before and after guests arrival) with it's river view is a perfect setting in which to relax! The driveway is heated in the winter, so there’s no worry over getting snowed in.
Cottonwood Shores is a very special place, and you’ll be glad you found this treasure!

We comfortably stayed (14 adults) in this beautiful cabin. Destination Leavenworth was super helpful. The cabin is super spacious. The deck was awesome to relax on and the hot tub was nice! It is close to Leavenworth and many wineries . Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this cabin. Well maintained, clean, with easy check-in/check-out processes. Has a convenient location close to Leavenworth but right on the river front. We had a large group of couples for this trip and the set up of this home worked great for us with en-suite bathrooms. When outdoors, a little noisy from street but can't hear anything from indoors.

Huuuuge house, really nice having a bathroom with each bedroom. River views are pretty good, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at cottonwood shores to celebrate my birthday and to experience Leavenworth and the lighting ceremony. The cabin was comfortable with plenty of space, each room had its own bathroom, and there was even a baby gate to protect your toddler from falling downstairs! The kitchen was well equipped with more than enough dishes to serve an army! Although the pots and pans and knives were old, so if you’re picky like my family, bring your own! My husband and I stayed in the downstairs cottonwood suite, which is right below the kitchen, and we could hear everything, so I would recommend to assign a heavy sleeper to that room! All in all, we had a wonderful stay, and was even granted a late checkout so my toddler could nap before trekking back home! As a side note, not relating to the cabin, if you’re going for the lighting ceremony, give yourselves at least 2hrs to drive in to Leavenworth and to find parking. Traffic was so horrible for us that even though we left an hour before the ceremony, we still misssed it by a half hour and had to park at Safeway and walk the rest of the way.

The house was beautiful with all the wood. This time of year it was beautifully decorated for the holidays! We enjoyed all the room inside. Each bedroom had a connecting bathroom which was great. We would love to visit again.

this home was perfect for out weekend getaway. everyone had their own private space, we had enough table and chairs to accommodate everyone. the home was very clean when we arrived and the starter kit provided for coffee and tea was very nice. the grill is too small (two burner) for a home that sleeps 12+ but we were able to manage it. would recommend Destination Leavenworth and this home to anyone interested in staying in the area.

We chose to stay in the Cottonwood Shores during our 3 day cycle event The Courage Classic. Our team of 15 people, the Lost Kids, pedals three days over three passes raising over 10k for abused kiddos here in Pierce County. First, the management team was so gracious and accommodating helping us set up the arrangements. When we arrived, after months of drooling over the photos, we were stunned. It is a major understatement to say the photos do no justice to the property. The picturesque setting on the banks of the Wenatchee River in the Peshastin Valley is amazing. Walking into the lodge is even more breath taking. The rooms each have unique, lovely ambiances. The kitchen and two living rooms feature mountain living personality. The deck with gas grill and hottub breathe with relaxing presence. While only 14 of us stayed at the lodge, we had team members come visit as well as family living in Wenatchee. It was peaceful with so many areas that people could chill as they wanted. Beers on the deck, lawn games below, conversation in the upstairs living area, TV in the downstairs living area, cooking and socializing in the kitchen and around the dining table....I could go on and on. I will finish with everything you need is here. WiFi, towels, kitchen items, washer/dryer, blankets, and oh my god, the comfiest beds! We will be back and thank you again for what you have created here!

This home really fit the bill for our group of eight. We had plenty of room and the home had everything we could possibly have wanted and/or needed. The location is quiet and peaceful and the home is nicely maintained inside. Great place to stay!

We had a great stay with extended family in spite of the lack of snow. It was nice that each of the families could have their own room. Our only problem was keeping the two toddlers off of the stairs. A permanent half height door or gate at the top of the stairs to the lower level would be nice.
