Is Lake Wenatchee safe to swim in?
Lake Wenatchee is a great place for swimming with a shallow roped off area designated for swimming on the south side of the park. At times the lake can be windy causing choppy water, but it is usually calm close to the shore.
Is Wenatchee Lake dog friendly?
Dogs are welcome at Lake Wenatchee, but they must remain on a leash. There are also places where you can wash your dog after your adventures!
Are dog friendly cabins available around Wenatchee Lake?
We currently have two cabins that are dog friendly along Lake Wenatchee: (1) Mountain Harbor, and (2) Bear Ridge Cabin.
Do you have to have a Discover Pass to go to Wenatchee Lake?
A one-day or seasonal Sno-Park permit allows use of State Park Sno-Parks (Hyak, Crystal Springs, Pearrygin Lake, Lake Wenatchee, Lake Easton, Mount Spokane, Fields Spring and Easton Reload) without a Discover Pass. It cost $30 USD for an annual pass, and $10 for 1-day pass.
