The Pacific Northwest has a love affair with coffee, and if you are anything like me, finding out where the locals go for a strong cup of coffee is at the top of my list when exploring a new city.

J5 Coffee Shop and Espresso Bar
J5 Coffee Shop serves a variety of coffee drinks, handcrafted with an organically grown espresso blend. Conveniently located on Front Street, stop in for a specialty drink, a freshly made pour over coffee, or pick up a bag of micro roasted coffee beans to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee back at your cozy vacation rental.
Little Red’s Bakery & Espresso
Little Red’s is known as the best drive-thru coffee spot in town. This vintage shop is a bakery, coffeehouse, and deli all in one. Pop in before heading off on an adventure, and treat yourself to a locally sourced cup of coffee and a freshly baked pastry. Their menu features everything from homemade poptarts to green smoothies to breakfast burritos. I never leave Leavenworth without indulging in a Madagascar Vanilla Latte & an egg, cheddar, bacon, arugula, tomatoes & Mama Lil’s aioli breakfast sandwich on a croissant.
Argonaut Espresso Bar
This quaint sidewalk café is the perfect place to wake up with a strong cup of coffee and a tasty bite before hitting the Waterfront Park Trail. Enjoy an espresso made from Blue Star Coffee Roasters, and their popular buttermilk biscuit breakfast sandwich.
Take a quick 30-minute drive to Wenatchee, and enjoy the open-air Wenatchee Pybus Public Market. Stroll and shop through this locally sourced market where you can find everything from fresh produce to craft beer, and of course, coffee! Make sure and grab a jolt of java at Café Columbia, a full espresso bar serving Blue Star coffee, freshly baked pastries, scones, and breakfast items.
The Gingerbread Factory
No visit to Leavenworth is complete without dropping by The Gingerbread Factory. Enjoy the irresistible smell of cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, and butter as you savor a cup of coffee with a freshly baked gingersnap cookie. Make sure and pick up some of their famous Lebkuchen cookies.
